How to handle tutoring requests, calls, recordings, and follow-up homework
Process requests from Chats or Tutoring, accept a session, join the call, and generate homework from its recording.

Open this area in SubSchool
A tutoring request can first appear in Chats as part of the learner conversation and also appears as a structured card in Tutoring. Use the card for status changes and chat for clarification.
Step 1. Read the request in Chats
Open Chats and choose the learner. A request panel can arrive in the conversation with subject, proposed time, duration, recurrence, and terms. Read it before replying; do not move payment or private contact details outside the platform.

Step 2. Open the structured request
Open Tutoring and the My sessions tab. Find the learner and verify the effective start/end time, your time zone, repeat-weekly flag, rate, and request status. If details are incomplete, use Chat and ask for the goal or an example task.

Step 3. Accept, propose changes, or decline
Click Accept only when time and terms are correct. Use the proposal/reschedule flow when the slot must change; the other party must accept it. Use Decline when you cannot help and explain briefly in chat. Status buttons, not chat text, update calendars and availability.

Step 4. Join the accepted lesson
After acceptance, Join lesson appears on the accepted session card and in the request panel inside the chat. The calendar also links to the session. These are authenticated links; do not copy raw access data to a public page.

Step 5. Teach and record
Open the managed call, check camera and microphone, and start recording after informing the learner. Use screen sharing or the board when needed. Stop recording and leave normally so SubSchool can finalize the file.

Step 6. Use the recording and create follow-up homework
After processing, the recording is posted in the same dialog and can be played later. On the teacher side click Generate assignment under that recording. Configure the generated set, submit the AI task once, wait for completion, and review the questions, correct answers, and criteria before the assignment is sent to the learner.
