How to create exercise sets and assign homework
Group reusable exercises, arrange them, set attempt rules, and attach the reviewed set to a lesson.

An exercise set is the assignable homework unit. Individual exercises remain reusable in other sets.
Step 1. Open Exercise sets
Open the set workspace from the Exercises area. Search before creating a near-duplicate.

Step 2. Create the set shell
Click Create. Enter a learner-facing title, choose subject and optional topic, and configure the displayed set type, volume, status, and maximum attempts. Static sets contain the exact selected tasks. Dynamic settings select from an eligible pool according to the displayed volume.

Step 3. Add and order exercises
Click Add exercise, search the library, and add only reviewed tasks that match the subject and level. Arrange them from prerequisite to application. Reopen essays and interviews to check criteria, and verify correct answers for objective tasks before saving.

Step 4. Attach the set to a lesson
Open the saved lesson editor, scroll to Homework, and click Add exercise set. Select the reviewed set. Replacing or removing a set changes what the learner receives, so confirm the warning and save the lesson.

Step 5. Preview and assign
Open Preview or a learner test account. Check order, media, answer controls, attempt count, and submission behavior. Only after this check should the course be shared with real learners.
