Key takeaways

  • Edit an event safely, manage publication and participants, and keep operational changes visible.

Open this area in SubSchool

Use the event workspace—not a new duplicate event—when the schedule, program, or participant status changes.

Step 1. Open the existing event

Open Events → My events, find the title and date, and open its management view. Verify you selected the correct draft or published event.

My events
Open an existing event from the organizer list.

Step 2. Edit the relevant section

Change only the section that needs updating: basics, access, participation, program, recruitment, mentors, certificates, or publication. Recheck dependent dates after any start/end change. Save and open the public view to confirm the update.

Event management
Edit public, access, schedule, program, and status settings.

Step 3. Manage participants

Open Recruitment/Participants. Search the person, inspect application and current status, then use the explicit status action. A chat message does not change registration state. Communicate material schedule or access changes to affected participants after saving them.

Event participants
Review registrations, statuses, and participant actions.

Sources and methodology

The workflow, labels, validation rules, and resulting states were checked against the live test environment. Screenshots were captured by Playwright at 3840×2160 and reviewed at full resolution.
