We collect different data depending on whether you are a Teacher, Student, or School account.
2.1 Account and profile data
- Name (or display name), email, password hash, account role (Teacher/Student/School), login history
- Optional: profile photo, bio, teaching subjects, language, time zone
2.2 Learning and platform content (User-generated Content)
- Course/lesson content (videos, slides, text, links)
- Homework assignments, student submissions, grades/feedback
- Messages and chat content between users
- Recordings of live lessons or tutoring sessions (when enabled)
- Any files you upload as part of teaching/learning workflows
2.3 AI-related data
- Inputs you submit to AI Tools (e.g., lesson materials for course structuring, homework generation, grading assistance)
- AI Output generated for you (e.g., suggested homework, grading notes, summaries)
2.4 Payments and billing
- Purchases made by students (what was bought, when, and for how much)
- Teacher/School payout details as needed to pay you (e.g., PayPal account identifiers)
Note: payment card data is typically handled by payment processors; we receive limited transaction metadata.
2.5 Usage and device data
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system
- App/website usage events (pages visited, feature usage, session duration)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
2.6 Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies for basic site functionality and may use optional analytics and advertising cookies depending on your cookie choices.
3) HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use personal data to:
- Provide and operate the Service (accounts, courses, tutoring, homework, chats, recordings)

- Public courses may show Teacher profile and course information in the marketplace.
- Students and Teachers may see each other’s messages, submissions, grades, and course materials within the learning context.
- Schools may have admin visibility into teacher activity and revenue sharing for their organization.

We may disclose data if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect users, minors, and the Service from fraud or abuse.
5) INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We may store or process data outside the UK/EEA depending on our service providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) for international transfers.
6) DATA RETENTION
We keep personal data as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business/legal needs.
Typical retention factors include:
- active account and course access needs,
- dispute/chargeback windows,
- legal obligations (e.g., accounting),
- backups and security logs.

The Service may be used for education involving minors. If a Student is a minor, a parent/guardian or authorized school/teacher should provide any required consent under applicable laws.
Teachers/Schools are responsible for collecting and managing consents for minors where required.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access, correct, or delete your personal data,
- object to or restrict processing,
- export your data (data portability),
- withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent),
- opt out of marketing communications,
