अच्छा lesson plan teacher की हर line नहीं लिखता। वह decisions व्यवस्थित करता है: student को क्या सीखना है, कौन-सा evidence इसे दिखाएगा और तैयार न होने पर क्या बदलना है।

Fields रखें: context, level, duration और prerequisite; observable objective; success criterion; prior knowledge और errors जाँचने वाला start task; modelled example; decreasing support वाली guided practice; new context में independent practice; short final check; support और extension; homework या next step।

Questions और transitions सहित realistic time दें। Decision rule लिखें: “यदि आधे से कम students criterion पूरा करें तो आगे बढ़ने से पहले दूसरी representation से समझाऊँगा।”

Class के बाद actual time, सबसे common error और सबसे useful activity लिखें। यही data अगला plan सुधारता है।

SubSchool में plan को lesson, exercises और feedback से जोड़ा जा सकता है। Planning केवल document नहीं रहती; वह वास्तविक learning sequence बनती है।
